CHONG Yu Zheng is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and a strong passion for technology management, rehabilitation engineering, and biomedical instrumentation. As an individual driven by excellence, he has achieved notable accomplishments and actively contributes to professional organizations and activities.

He holds an impressive academic profile, having completed multiple degrees from esteemed institutions. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate School of Business at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Bangi, where he conducted his MBA project on "Sustainable Electronics Awareness Amongst UKM Students." This project showcases his commitment to promoting sustainability and raising awareness among students about the responsible use of electronics.

Furthermore, he holds a Master of Biomedical Engineering (MBiomedE) from the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. During his time there, he focused on the development of methods for clinical review of individual cases with cerebral palsy through his thesis titled "Human Movement Analysis." His research reflects his dedication to advancing healthcare and improving the lives of individuals with movement disorders.

In addition to his master's degrees, he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Engineering from Monash University in Malaysia. His undergraduate thesis on "Human Motion Analysis using In-Shoe Data Logging" highlights his interest and expertise in utilizing technology to analyze and understand human movement.

As a testament to his professional standing, he is a Senior Member of the Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and a Graduate Member (Mechatronics) of the Board of Engineers Malaysia. These memberships highlight his commitment to professional excellence and continuous growth in the field of engineering.

He actively engages in various professional activities, including serving as the Honorary Secretary of the IEEE-EMBS Malaysia Chapter for the 2023-2024 session. He also held the role of Funding Coordinator for the IEEE R10 Student Activities Committee during the 2021-2022 session and served as the Honorary Treasurer of the IEEE-EMBS Malaysia Chapter during the same period. Additionally, he contributes as a Subcommittee Member of the IEEE Humanitarian Activities Committee Education Committee, showcasing his dedication to promoting social responsibility and humanitarian efforts in engineering.

In terms of professional certification, he has obtained the Good Clinical Practice Certification from the National Bureau of Pharmaceutical, Ministry of Health Malaysia. This certification reflects his commitment to maintaining ethical standards and guidelines in clinical research, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and welfare.

His expertise and contributions have been recognized through his participation in the Second Telemedicine Innovation Challenge, where his project titled "Upper Extremities Interactive Device for Children with Movement Disorders" earned the Third Prize in the Open Category.
